You can edit text on your website by double clicking on a text box on your website. Alternatively, when you select a text box a settings menu will appear. Selecting 'Edit Text' from this menu will also allow you to edit the text within this text box. ADELE JAMES is an actress and screenwriter with a BA Hons in Drama from the University of Bristol.

​In 2018 Adele trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City, where she honed her acting and stage combat crafts.


Adele's acting experience to date spans theatre and screen work. In 2017 Adele debuted and reprised the leading role in Lynette Linton's sell-out play, #HASHTAG LIGHTIE, at The Arcola, directed by Rikki Beadle-Blair. In 2019 Adele moves from understudying the West End transfer of NINE NIGHT at the Trafalgar Studios, to performing in her first U.K. Tour with a production of THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY.

During her time at the Institute in NYC Adele was also mentored by renowned screenwriter and playwright, Larry Alton. Her debut short film, LAST CALL, which she wrote and produced in New York, and which Adele also stars in, won an award for "Best Screenplay".

Adele is currently developing several more exciting screen projects, including a TV series based on her experiences as a mixed-race millennial for Channel 4, and a short film with the award winning director, Ben Wicks.

Adele is represented by Creative Artists Management for acting and Curtis Brown as a screenwriter.
